An introduction to Son Bonet Airport

Mallorca Son Bonet Airport is located approximately four kilometres north-west of the city of Palma.

The airport handles general and leisure aviation, and all passenger traffic is either private or from the flight schools.

Son Bonet is an uncontrolled airport that uses the local frequency 122.705C MHz. A Flight Plan (FPL) is required to use its facilities, even for flights with a local origin/destination.

The general aviation area consists of four hangars at the foot of the apron. In addition to being used for aircraft accommodation and maintenance, all of them also contain offices and warehouses.
